I took this pic while I waited for my roti's. This is from a shop in Hyderabad. I was moved by the way this family has found their daily bread. In this pic, mother is seen making roti's, while the son takes care of food delivery.
Question?
If you ask a typical family in Kerala, if they can set a small business or a take away center in their locality, then what would be their answer?
I bet most people you ask will shun away from the business activity. The world business is a big taboo for most people. Next, they will say, what will other's think? Moreover, they will have a thousand questions as to how, when, where, why.
How is this this locality in Hyderabad has so many curry points, food counters by evening? And the good part is that most of the shops are run by ladies.
