Today in Kumarapuram, Trivandrum, I went to buy few provisions from the Reliance outlet in Kumarapuram. Being Onam season, the store was packed with all kinds of items, I asked the store girl for few items, and she showed located the product for me. Good service.
Next, I moved to the billing counter. The lady in the counter was new to me. I haven't see her earlier. A new recruit. So, what's new here...
Along with me, there was two other Maldivian ladies inside the shop. While, I went past one of the lady I felt the smell of fresh perfume. It's when I remembered what someone told a thing which these Maldivians think about us we Indians.
They think, we Indians stink. Yes, no doubt, we don't use much perfume stuff. We believe in our natural scent. And, so we stink.
Anyways, my point is not about how much we stink, the question is something else...
I was thinking of the lady behind the cash counter. Few thoughts about it...

- How much does she earn in a month? Working is a Reliance outlet? Well, I'll find out.
- How can she earn more in the current job?
- What don't she welcome each customer with few words or with a smile?
- What happens if she learns Divehi and speak to Maldivans who come to this store?
- Will she get picked for a better job, or will someone offer a good placement elsewhere?
